Bureau Veritas Power & Utilities Department is dedicated to provide professional QA/QC services for power generation industry, such as Wind Power, Nuclear Power, Hydro Power, Transmission & Distribution and Solar Power etc., including Consulting & Inspection Services, Equipment Conformity Inspection, Site Installation Inspection, and Training Services.

From 1999 to 2009, Bureau Veritas has provided QA/QC services to thermal power projects of 46 units equipment with 19.4 GW installed capacity, hydro power projects of 56 units with 16.5 GW installed capacity and wind power projects with more than 3000 wind turbines with 2.8 GW installed capacity.

Staff Qualification:
Bureau Veritas China I&F Division has more than 900 Professional Experts & Engineers for Industry & Facilities. More than 400 senior engineers, inspectors and auditors and over 10 years professional experience in average.

Numerous qualifications includes ASME AI, AIS, AWS CWI, NDT-UT/RT/PT/MT.
Several disciplines contains Mechanical / Hydraulic, Electric, Structure, NDT, Civil engineering, Project management, Safety, Environment.
